Happy To Be in Jordan

Zac lives in a house with these great missionaries who are from Ecuador, Peru and Chile.

It was hard to leave the wonderful families Zac met in Chan Chan.
Here are a few pictures of people he will never forget.

 

Leaving Chan Chan

Last picture with the wonderful missionaries
in the Central Zone. Zac will really miss the people
 in the Chan Chan Ward but is looking forward
to his transfer to the Esperanza Zone and
meeting the people in the Jordan Ward this week.

The missionaries got together on Thanksgiving and
had a Peruvian style feast--chicken, green rice and bananas.

Thanksgiving Continued

After their Peruvian feast with the other missionaries at lunch, they were 
treated to a real American style Thanksgiving dinner.

One of their favorite families fixed a real turkey dinner for them. Amy is the best cook ever!

Ginger ale with cranberry juice completed the meal.

Zac will miss this family very much.

Another Good But Busy Week

This past week was a good but busy one.  They attended two baptisms and a training meeting, performed at a musical fireside and practiced for the Christmas show.

Movie Night Missionary Activity in Chan Chan Ward

The Chan Chan Ward had a great activity to encourage the members
 to invite friends to find out more about the gospel.
Zac is standing between his companion Elder Lavado
and Roman, a wonderful man who was recently baptized. 
The event was orchestrated by Marco, who is the best mission leader ever.

New Job Skills and Tire Sandals

Zac decided to start cutting his own hair so he bought some hair clippers and gave it a try. We think he did a pretty good job.  We asked him how he was able to cut his hair in the back and he simply said, "Faith."  If college doesn't prepare him for the job market he can always open a barber shop.

Elder Vimahi brought Zac some sandals made from tires when he visited last week.

He loves them!
